FAQS

Can I bring a plus one?

Only those named on your invitation are invited to the day. If you are unsure or want clarity about who from your household/relationship is invited just ask the Bride or Groom.

What should I wear?

The dress code for the wedding is formal and we encourage you to wear colour! This being a summer (no matter what the Scottish weather does) wedding.

Our colour scheme (if you hadn't already guessed) is various shades of pink and orange so if you don't want to match the décor or bridesmaids then avoid wearing these but that's your call.

White is absolutely not permitted and this includes any shades of cream, ivory or extremely light pastels that could pass as white.

Please also refrain from wearing a black tuxedo (no points for guessing who will be wearing one).

How do I RSVP?

If you go to the homepage of this website there is a "RSVP" button and that will take you to the RSVP form. The form must be filled in for each individual guest.

When should I RSVP by?

The earlier the better but you must RSVP by 27th May 2025.

After this point the RSVP section of the website will not accept anymore responses.

What can I get you as a gift?

While your presence is the most important gift, if you'd like to contribute to our future together, a monetary gift towards our honeymoon/home fund would be greatly appreciated.

Is there somewhere nearby the venue where I can stay?

Yes! There are two Premier Inn's nearby, both within a 5 minute drive of the venue.

Premier Inn Glasgow Bearsden hotel, 279 Milngavie Rd, Bearsden, Glasgow G61 3DQ

&

Premier Inn Glasgow (Milngavie) hotel, 103 Main St, Milngavie, Glasgow G62 6JQ

Can I take photos/videos during the ceremony?

No! We have spent a pretty penny on an amazing photographer and videographer so let them earn their wage.

Can I post photos/videos that I have taken of the day?

Yes of course, however please wait until the couple have made their post first. No spoilers!

Is there parking at the venue?

Yes there is parking at the venue however the car park isn't that large. There is an ASDA just round the corner you could park in if all spaces are taken up.

How do I know if I am invited to the whole day or invited to the evening?

It will specifically say on your invitation if you are invited to the "wedding" or "wedding reception". If your invite says "wedding" then you are invited to the whole day and if your invite says "wedding reception" you are invited to the evening
